Keith is currently working as part of The Boeing Company's Information Security technical vulnerability assessment team. His current focus is application security testing.
Previously, Keith server as the lead IT security advisor for Boeing's international operations. His responsibilities covered a wide range of
topics that included policy development and implementation, international regulations, access management, technology evaluation and
telecommunication services security.
Keith also led the development of Boeing's business partner security assessment process. This ISO 17799 based assessment was implemented to obtain an understanding of the security policies, procedures, and safeguards in use by Boeing's business partners, in order to support
improved risk management.
Before his move into the world of IT security, Keith worked in field of engineering systems integration and data management. He also spent time
as a senior manufacturing engineer on the 747 airplane program.
Keith has a BA in Mechanical Engineering and an MS in Computer Systems. He has authored popular study guides for five of the CISSP domains and is currently the Director of Communication for the Puget Sound chapter of the ISSA.
Keith is actively involved in engineering education and is director of a
Northwest regional multi-college engineering competition. Keith is also
an award winning speaker on engineering education.
